Santa Bárbara Sistemas is a Spanish company that employs more than seven hundred highly qualified workers in four work centres, dedicated to defence. The know-how and the industrial infrastructures that it operates provide SBS with unique technological capabilities in Spain and allow us to be an European centre of excellence and production in the areas of mobility, protection, load and growth, firepower, systems integration and ILS, protection, load and growth, firepower, systems integration and ILS.
Activity/capabilities
SBS has been leading ground programmes for the Armed Forces for more than 40 years. Spanish and other NATO and non-NATO countries in ammunition, weapons systems, missiles and wheeled and tracked armoured vehicles: BMR, Pizarro, RG-31 and Leopard 2E, as well as in SIAC artillery systems.
