Defense Industrial Strategy: Engine of Reindustrialization in Spain

This week, from Asturias Hub Defensa, we have collaborated with Agencia Sekuens, UGT FICA and the Anastasio de Gracia Foundation in the organization of the conference ” Defense Industrial Strategy: Motor of reindustrialization in Spain” in the Cannon Workshop of the Oviedo Weapons Factory.
For two days, this event brought together experts and representatives of the defense industry, public administrations, the armed forces and trade unions to analyze the strategic role of this sector as an engine for reindustrialization in Spain.
The conference included an extensive program of round tables, presentations and lectures, the intervention of the Secretary of State for Defense, María Amparo Valcarce, who took advantage of her speech to announce that Asturias will host a new will host a new technological center linked to defense .
In addition, an outstanding representation of companies belonging to Asturias Hub Defensa, together with other large national companies such as Navantia, GDELS Santa Barbara, Escribano, have showcased their latest technologies and innovation capabilities in the defense field.
