The Infantry Regiment Number 3 of the Cabo Noval Barracks hosted the first assembly of the assembly of the Association of Asturian companies dedicated to the Defence sector, where the success of the hub in its first year of life was celebrated.
The Defence hub, currently made up of 39 entities from the region, including 5 new incorporations, showcased the activities it has organised and participated in during this first year. The objectives of the Association continue along the current lines, cooperation between members to generate more business opportunities, the consolidation of the association and the search for new programmes, as well as joint projects with other entities.
During the public act of the Assembly, the Defence Industry was presented by Brigadier General Santiago Camarero, Head of Procurement of the Army’ s Logistic Support Command, the Regiment ‘s programme for the incorporation of military personnel into the civilian sphere, and visited the barracks workshops.
The future of the hub is based on the firm conviction to double its activity, To this end, among other activities, will show all its potential at the International Defence Fair “FEINDEF FEINDEF”, which will be held in Madrid on 17, 18 and 19 May, at stand A33+35 in pavilion 8.
