Demonstration Workshop at Regiment Príncipe nº3

The Asturias Defense Hub, an association formed by 46 organizations representing the defense industry in Asturias, has organized a demonstration workshop to present to the Ministry of Defense, specifically, to Army Logistic Support Command ( MALE ), the technological (MALE) the technological capabilities of its partners.
This workshop has taken place at Regimiento de Infantería’Príncipe’ Núm. 3, Cabo Noval” barracks in order to show the different technologies and their capacity of use in real terrain. It was possible to test state-of-the-arttechnologies such as an unmanned vehicle (SVMAC), a quadruped robot (ALISYS DIGITAL), an aerial drone (SEERSTEMS), a perimeter surveillance and target tracking system (SR7), a Laser rangefinder with integrated ballistic calculator (DBV) or even night vision binoculars (MILITEX). All of them with potential use both by army soldiers and for other law enforcement activities, such as surveillance and detection systems, industrial inspection or photogrammetry.
In addition, other capabilities of the Defense Hub ‘s partners in additive partners of the Defense Hub in relation to additive manufacturing, advancedengineering and manufacturing, defense systems, combatant protection and virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies.
This type of action is aimed at aligning the real needs of the Spanish Army with the innovation and capabilities of Asturian companies, to foster their growth and consolidate the industry in the region.
Therefore, the Asturias Defense Hub continues in its efforts to make visible and enhance the presence of Asturiancompanies in the national defense sector.
The workshop was also attended by the Delegate of Defense in Asturias, the Colonel of the Regiment and the Director of the Sekuens Agency .
