The Gijón-based company, a member of Asturias Hub Defensa, has received one of the Principality’s most prestigious awards for business innovation.
OLMAR S.A., a company from Asturias a leader in advanced manufacturing and a member of Asturias Hub Defence, has been honoured with the SEKUENS 2026 Award, an award which recognises her career in business, his commitment to innovation and his ability to develop solutions for industry with high technological value.
The award, presented by the SEKUENS Agency, recognises more than 75 years of history of a family-run company founded in Gijón in 1945, which has established itself as an international leader in the development and manufacture of autoclaves, industrial furnaces, control systems and advanced technologies for highly demanding sectors such as the aeronautical, aerospace and defence industries.
The company currently exports the majority of its output and remains strongly committed to research and technological development, incorporating advanced additive manufacturing capabilities that enable it to offer innovative solutions for complex industrial applications.

The SEKUENS 2026 Awards ceremony will take place on 13 November, as part of the Asturias Economy and Future Awards gala, an event that recognises the organisations and professionals driving the economic, technological and industrial transformation of the Principality.
