From Friday 27th to Saturday 28th October , get ready for an intense week full of technology, workshops and lots of innovation in a different event. Asturias Hub Defensa invites you to participate in an exhibition of free access and a series of exciting activities in the Cannon Workshop of the old Oviedo Arms Factory, in Asturias.
Technology and innovation
Explore the fusion of technology and defense in a unique environment, where innovation is at the heart of it all. In this special week, we will highlight how the defense industry contributes to innovation in civil society.
You will discover fascinating examples of how technologies and systems developed by the defense industrial sector are applied in a variety of fields, such as healthcare, engineering, logistics and communications. In addition, we will explore historical details that have shaped our lives as we know them today.

registration in advance, as well as guided tours of the exhibition that will be available both days.
On Friday evening, the event will culminate with the spectacular “Defend the Beat”Concert . Featuring:
- Coppelia Dance School. Directed by Iratxe Álvarez.
- War Band of the “Príncipe” Regiment Nº3. Conductor: Corporal Javier Martínez.
- Symphonic Band of the Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Anselmo González del Valle”. Conductor: Yolanda Galindo.
- Music Unit of the Manoeuvre Support Command of La Coruña. Conductor: Commander Iván R. Armán.
And on Saturday morning, children between 6 and 14 years old will be able to participate in a “Survival will be able to participate in a ” Survival Workshop “.
To attend the concert on Friday 27th “Defend the Beat”, the children’s workshop on Saturday 28th ” Survival Workshop” and the guided tours that will take place on both days, invitations must be collected from the following button.
