The Asturias Hub Defence has held a new workshop on work within the framework of the Hontoria Circle, initiative aimed at promoting direct collaboration between leading companies < a21> and the industrial and technological ecosystem of the Principality.
On this occasion, the star of the show has been Piedrafita, a leading company in the development and supply of products that are innovative and reliable for vehicle applications that are highly demanding, and a member of the Hub. During the event, the company held multiple bilateral meetings with companies from Asturias, with the aim of exploring capabilities and possible avenues for collaboration.
The session was attended by Isabel Ligués and Pablo Martos, who presented Piedrafita’s strategic vision and led the meetings with the participating companies. Both conveyed the company’s interest in identifying areas of distinctive strength within the regional industrial base.
During the meetings, the companies in the Asturias Defence Hub showcased their technological solutions, industrial capabilities and areas of innovation in fields such as advanced engineering, electronics, precision manufacturing, software, simulation and specialist services in demanding environments.
The format of the Hontoria Circle facilitated a structured dialogue and focused on … a6> structured and results-oriented dialogue, enabling the identification of synergies, opportunities for integration into the supply chain a22> supply chain and potential collaborations on projects current and future.
From Piedrafita, emphasis was placed on the high technological standard of the Asturian industrial ecosystem, as well as the complementarity of capabilities available to tackle the challenges of the defence sector and dual-use markets.
With this initiative, the Asturias Hub Defence reinforces its commitment to the connection between leading companies and the regional industry, promoting the visibility of the technological potential ofAsturias and creating new opportunities for business and innovation in the field of defence.
