The Asturias Defence Hub has held a busy day of meetings as part of the Círculo Hontoria, a platform designed to foster direct collaboration between leading companies and the Principality’s industrial and technological ecosystem. On this occasion, the company Urovesa, a national leader in tactical and logistics vehicles, held 20 bilateral meetings with companies from the Hub.
The session was presented by Justo Sierra, CEO of Urovesa, accompanied by Pablo López, Director of Operations, who also led all the meetings with the Asturian companies. Both executives conveyed the vision strategy of the company and demonstrated a firm interest in identifying distinctive capabilities within the regional industrial fabric.
During the meetings, companies from the Asturias Defence Hub showcased their technological solutions, industrial capabilities and areas of innovation, covering fields such as advanced manufacturing, composite materials, software, engineering, high-precision machining, electronics and specialist services.
The dynamics of the Hontoria Circle made it possible to establish a space for structured dialogue which facilitated the identification of synergies, opportunities for integration into the supply chain regarding supply and potential collaborations on current and future projects. Urovesa highlighted the high technological standard of the Asturian ecosystem and the diversity of solutions applicable to the defence sector and dual-use markets. This event reinforces Asturias Hub Defensa’s commitment to fostering links between leading companies and regional industry, promoting the visibility of Asturias’ capabilities in the defence sector and driving new business and innovation opportunities
