Asturias Hub Defence consolidates its presence at the TEDAE Business Meetings Conference
Creating synergies for the national defence industry
The Asturian defence industry has demonstrated its strength and capacity for cooperation at the recent 2025 Business Meetings Conference , organised by the Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies (TEDAE). This important event, which brought together 73 key companies in the sector, served as a platform to promote new business opportunities and strengthen synergies between SMEs and large industrial operators in Spain.
Asturias Hub Defensa was well represented, demonstrating the dynamism of our ecosystem. The event was attended by our director, Carolina Díaz Fernández, who accompanied a distinguished delegation of member companies.

The day was very productive, with a total of 233 business meetings (B2B) taking place. The debates and round tables focused on highly topical issues, such as the crucial role of SMEs in the new Industrial Defence Strategy and the financing instruments available for innovation and internationalisation.
The event was opened by the director of the Spanish Space Agency (AEE), Juan Carlos Cortés, and closed by Lieutenant General Miguel Ivorra, director general of Strategy and Innovation for the Defence Industry (DIGEID), who reaffirmed the strategic importance of SMEs for the sector.
The participation of our partners in this high-level forum not only opens new doors for joint projects, but also positions Asturias as a technological hub in the national defence industry.
