It is a great honour for us to announce that Asturias Hub Defensa has been awarded the Business Initiative Award by the newspaper El Comercio.
Firstly, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to El Comercio newspaper and its jury for granting us this award and for their great work in raising awareness of initiatives such as ours that seek to strengthen the region.
This prestigious recognition is not only for the Hub as an organisation, but also belongs to each of the partners who are part of this project. It is a distinction for the collective effort, strategic vision and spirit of collaboration that has driven us since day one.
The jury praised the Hub’s role as a successful example of public-private collaboration and a driver of cohesion and innovation, capable of bringing together individual capabilities to generate synergies and tackle larger-scale projects. This award validates our model, which focuses on positioning Asturias as a national benchmark in the defence industry.
But we have not travelled this road alone. We would therefore like to give special thanks to those who have supported this project from the outset, demonstrating their commitment to the sector: the Government of the Principality of Asturias, the Defence Delegation in Asturias and the ‘Príncipe’ Regiment No. 3. Their support has been essential in getting us this far.
We receive this award with enormous gratitude and as an incentive to continue working on our roadmap.
