The Asturian defence industry continues to establish itself as a key hub within the Spanish defence ecosystem, fostering collaboration between companies, technological development and the creation of new growth opportunities.
From the Asturias Hub Defence, we promote these synergies and connections between the key players in defence of our country. In this context, some of our members have recently taken part in two strategic meetings for the sector.
The first, the 3rd Meeting of the Ecosystem of the National Industry a9> of Defence organised by Indra at the Factory of Arms Factory in La Vega, Oviedo, An event focused on strengthening the a25> the capabilities of Asturian companies and on promoting the agreements of collaboration between them to boost their growth, whose inauguration was presided over by Amparo Valcarce, Secretary of State for Defence. In addition, a session was set aside for discussions regarding the industrial of the PEMs, key to the future of the industry.
Meanwhile, GDELS-Santa Bárbara Sistemas held the Life Cycle Support Industry Day at its facilities in Alcalá de Guadaíra, in Seville, bringing together more than 300 companies and over 500 professionals from the defence industry to showcase their capabilities as leaders in the manufacture and maintenance of land-based defence systems for the Army.
Participation in these forums reinforces the commitment of the HUB with the creation of strategic alliances and the positioning of the Asturian industry as a benchmark that is becoming increasingly relevant at the national level.
